Okkadu Migiladu  Movie:

First half starts off interestingly introducing Surya and his fight against Minister with the help of TV reporter Anisha Ambrose. In no time, the main plot derails as Surya starts off his flashback with mighty introduction of Manoj as Prabhakaran. In an attempt to narrate the untold true story of Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka, director goes completely awry with flat, boring and tedious war scenes rolled one after other on a hollow, emotion less footing. cinejosh

Manchu Manoj gained weight for his role in the film and said it was his responsibility to do the movie. But, those expecting this to be a Manchu Manoj show, will be sorely disappointed. Because the film, throughout, is an Ajay Andrews’ show. He plays the role of Victor with an ease that is hard to describe, even if he’s featured only for a portion of the film. Manchu Manoj on the other hand delivers dialogues in a way that remind the audience of his father Mohan Babu, with his only emotion in the film being jowl-vibrating anger.   Times of India

This movie might be a good experience if the screenplay is well written with subtle emotions. Screenplay plays the spoilsport and writer and director Ajay Andrews Nuthakki could have taken better care in that aspects. Manchu Manoj seems to be worked very hard for this movie and his hard work certainly don’t pay off with the bad writing and many a times in the movie that audience feel yawning as it doesn’t connect the way makes intended. To sum up, Okkadu Migiladu is another disappointment for Manoj Manchu.  Chitramala

Okkadu Migiladu is all about the struggles of Srilankan Tamilians. He became fail to utilize the performance skills of other talented stars like Posani, Suhasini and Murali Mohan. There are neither surprising moments nor boring moments in the film. The film half is loaded with violence and in the second director focuses on showing the passage of Srilankan refugees to India. There is no any surprise element in the movie. TollywoodNet
